As a cooperative, all "customers" are owners or members of the coop. One benefit of being a member of our cooperative, is the dividend check for your share of the profits at the end of the year.

Membership Fees

Before you can become a "customer" you first need to be a member of the coop. There are some one-time only charges and they break out like this:

• Cost of one 'share' is $10.00.
• There is a one-time activation fee of $9.45.
• A minimum of a $25.00 deposit for a first time telephone subscriber in the Panora calling area.
• The total one-time only charges are $44.45.

Existing telephone jacks in your home will be activated when you sign up. Any additional jacks can be installed at your request for the cost of time and materials - most additional jacks can be added for about $50 total per jack - of course there are exceptions that cost more.
